The landscape of Volcano House is a place of calm and serenity. Positioned below the historic Maungauika, the maunga was an inspiration and a contextual connection for the landscape spaces.
The garden landscape was devised as a series of interconnecting outside rooms responding directly with the interior spaces. Each outdoor space has both a different function and aspect, creating a unique opportunity for a sensory experience as you move around the home.
We worked alongside amazing clients with horticultural knowledge and expertise which gave the project greater depth, allowing us to create an environment they love to live and utilise.
