The renovation of a corner section gave us an opportunity to redesign the front entrance to this corner site.

With the home entrance facing south on a corner the design required a thoughtful approach that created a generous and open entrance. With the site being shaded the brief meant that a non-slip practical surface for the steps was required.

The terraced rock wall gardens soften the steep transition between the home and the street and create opportunities for lush textural planting to spill over the surfaces.
